海內外校友與中心團隊共議未來發展藍圖

王國媚民生創新發展中心於 2025 12 6 舉行 年度策略規劃會議,特別邀請遠自美國返校的中心贊助者——王國媚學姐 此外還有錢安素學姐,以及傑出校友裘國英夫婦、張啟光與石慧中學長姐夫婦蒞臨,共同與中心團隊探討未來方向。此次會議凝聚校內外資源與專業,對中心未來數年的發展奠定重要基礎。

會議開始由中心營運長 范姜鶴如 介紹中心的使命、發展定位,以及 2025 年度已完成的活動成果,包括創新教育推廣、與產學合作成果、社會影響計畫等,全面呈現中心一年來在民生科技創新、社會關懷與青年培力上的具體進展。

在策略討論環節中,與會來賓就中心未來的 四大發展主軸 進行深入交流:

一、提升社會能見度與公共影響力
中心將持續打造鮮明的品牌形象,強化與社會大眾之連結,並透過成功案例、研究成果與影響故事的分享,讓更多人看見中心在創新與社會責任上的努力。

二、確保長期財務永續
會議建議應多元化募款模式,包括捐款、研究補助及企業合作,並建立可持續的財務規劃,以支撐中心擴大計畫規模、深化產學合作與推動社會創新。

三、擴充人力與提升營運能量
為支援中心未來成長,營運長認為需逐步增加專任人力,補強企劃、專案管理、外部關係及研究支援等角色,使營運更具效率與前瞻性。

四、強化國內外策略夥伴關係
中心將積極建立國際交流與合作,串聯全球新創與民生科技趨勢,推動跨國專案與人才互動,成為學校與世界接軌的重要平台。

會議亦依據中心發展階段討論短、中程目標。短期將聚焦基礎能量建構與小型試點專案,例如與新創團隊合作孵化概念產品、舉辦工作坊與設計思考培訓、並啟動社區型 USR 專案。中期則目標推動技術商品化、擴展品牌規模、強化專利與技轉機制,引入更多產業夥伴與外部資源,並拓展國際市場與展會活動。

與會者亦針對中心未來在擴張規模、資源需求及專注策略等挑戰提出建議,期盼中心在加速創新與提升社會影響力的道路上走得穩健而長遠。

此次策略會議在熱烈而務實的交流中圓滿落幕,象徵王國媚民生創新發展中心邁向下一階段的重要里程碑。中心將秉持創新與公益初心,持續整合校友、產業與社會資源,共同打造具影響力的永續未來。

Mimi Liu Center for Innovation and Development Hosted the 2025 Annual Strategic Planning Meeting

The Mimi Liu Center for Innovation and Development convened its 2025 Annual Strategic Planning Meeting on December 6, 2025, bringing together major donors, distinguished alumni, and members of the Center’s leadership team to discuss long-term development priorities.

Among the honored attendees were Center supporters Ms. Mimi Liu and Ms. Susan Chao, who returned from the United States to join the meeting. Outstanding alumni were also present, contributing valuable perspectives to the Center’s strategic discussions.

The meeting opened with Chief Operating Officer Eric Fan Chiang presenting the Center’s mission, strategic direction, and key achievements in 2025. Highlights included advancements in innovation education, expanded industry–academia collaborations, and meaningful progress in social impact and youth empowerment initiatives.

Participants then engaged in in-depth discussions centered on the Center’s four strategic pillars:

  • Enhancing Public Visibility and Social Influence
    Strengthening brand recognition and sharing success stories, research outcomes, and impact cases to deepen public engagement.
  • Securing Long-Term Financial Sustainability
    Diversifying funding through philanthropy, grants, and corporate partnerships, and improving financial planning to support program expansion and innovation efforts.
  • Expanding Staffing and Operational Capacity
    Gradually increasing full-time staff and reinforcing roles in project management, outreach, and research support to ensure organizational effectiveness and long-term growth.
  • Strengthening Domestic and International Partnerships
    Developing global collaborations and exchange programs to integrate international innovation trends with local resources, positioning the Center as a key platform for cross-border cooperation.

The meeting further outlined short- and mid-term milestones. Short-term goals include capacity building, piloting projects with student and alumni startup teams, and launching community-based USR initiatives. Mid-term priorities focus on technology commercialization, strengthening intellectual property and technology transfer mechanisms, attracting additional industry partners, and expanding into international markets.

Attendees also discussed challenges related to organizational scaling, resource allocation, and maintaining strategic focus, offering recommendations to support the Center’s continued advancement.

The 2025 Annual Strategic Planning Meeting concluded with strong consensus and renewed commitment to the Center’s mission. With the support of alumni, industry partners, and the university community, the Mimi Liu Center for Innovation and Development is poised to further expand its impact and accelerate innovation for societal benefit.
